Account Manager – Queensland

We are looking for a Full-Time Account Manager for our Queensland branch. The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Strong experience in Customer Services and Sales. 

  • Experience with Business Development. 

  • Intermediate knowledge of specific industry needs and applications

  • Intermediate in sales & customer servicing of industry

  • Intermediate knowledge of business & processing software

  • Intermediate knowledge of Stainless & Performance Steels

  • Advanced oral & written communication skills

  • Intermediate knowledge of Supply

  • Interpersonal and ability to work in a team.

Reporting to the Customer Services Manager is the responsibility of the Account Manager. 

  • Oversee all activity of sales process and transactions to ensure order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.

  • Negotiate Quotations, with margins, freight costs and profit with customers and relevant parties to add value to the company and customer relationship

  • Constructing competitive & complete quotations/orders for Project & Indent customers. 

  • Follow up and engage with previous customers of any potential future business.

  • Assist with inventory requirements and sales forecasting of specific products to ensure the customer’s demand is met with accurate supply. 

  • Assist & support the development of specialised products (outside of Inventory Program) through business with customers and specific projects. 

  • Develop relationships with suppliers & manufacturers.

  • Liaise with Quality & Customer Service Team members with quality issues. 

  • Engaging and participating in Commercial & Technical risk management for supply.

  • Assist & support the development of All Industries, identifying inventory requirements, market opportunities & industry knowledge to boost business.

  • Supporting national sales teams with Project & Indent packaging services
